Pilgrims hurt in Iraq firefight
Edited on Wed Apr-07-04 07:41 PM by Mari333
ASSAILANTS fired rocket-propelled grenades south of Baghdad on US troops who responded by killing two insurgents and wounding several Shi'ite pilgrims who were trekking to the holy Shi'ite city of Karbala, a resident said.

"Assailants fired RPGs on the convoy and US soldiers riposted, killing two assailants and wounding Shi'ite pilgrims heading to Karbala," he said.

3. I will hope that his lack of communication is related to
power outages or other simple (and hopeful) explanations. My thoughts are with yo, your hsuband, and of course Michael. Tough on all fronts, and it really sucks. I feel great sorrow for Michael, having to find out that our once great nation is capable of such nonsense instead of behaving as it attempts to portray itself. Many good thoughts to all of you and my prayers for Michael's safe return, soon.

4. thank you it would be easier if we thought he was there
for some noble purpose ...but we and he knows that he is there to protect Bush's corporate interests..he knows that well. He was afraid to go to jail, so he went.
Now our worst nightmares are coming true.
I wish I could go over there with other thousands of mothers, and snatch our kids out of there now.
before one more dies, and before one more Iraqi dies.
This has to end.
