Hotel murder man had 'two names'

A man who was murdered at a central London hotel is now believed to have been known by a second name.

Detectives said the man, who was killed in a room of the Marriott Hotel, near Oxford Street last month, was known as Simon Turkov and Yermia Yunataev.

His body was found after bloody clothes and documents from the hotel were found dumped at a Kent Eurotunnel terminal.

Mr Yunataev, 45, is believed to have had links with the Dorset area. An inquest was adjourned until 21 April.

Turkov/Yentaev was mentioned in a police interview on cable last night as being connected to the Israeli property developer David Appel, whose dealings with Ariel Sharon's son in a building scam in Greece have landed Sharon in deep murky waters on charges of corruption...

The Turkov/Yentaev story is interesting because it was initially linked to a large cocaine bust in Ghana on 7 January where 6 Brits/American and assorted Europeans were arrested over £80 million of the drug. The initial reporting of the story said Turkov/Yentaev was a hitman sent by Sharon's son to take out the informants who initiated the Ghana bust....
