Large Fire In The Bronx (5 Alarm)

A large fire in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx has grown to five alarms. It started around 2 p.m. and was still burning out of control more an hour later.

It started in a six story apartment building and has spread to a two story brownstone building next door. There are four injured firefighters and one potential civilian injury.

The fire was out in the building that initially caught on fire but flames and thick, black smoke could be seen pouring from the roof of the second building in the 400 block of Manida St.
