Between 200 and 300 bodies have been found on a beach near Sendai, the semi-official Jiji Press news agency is reporting.

5. No, when a tsunami come in the...
water will recede from the shore much further than normal prior to the big wave coming to shore...However, just because the water recedes does not mean it will be a huge wave coming. But anytime you see the ocean recede you need to get the hell of the beach & head for high ground or high in a very stable concrete building.

8. They were saying the drawback went past the second reef further out
at Diamond Head. They estimated the drawback of the first couple of waves there as the length of a football field. I think it was either KMGB or KITV where I saw that. I have both video streams open.
