Are Anonymous Hackers About To Expose Something Awful About Bank Of America On Monday?
Source: Business Insider

Last year,Wikileaks' Julian Assange said he had documents on a major bank -- everyone kind of figured that it was Bank of America -- though it now seems that there isn't much to it.

Now Gawker's Adrien Chen points out that a member of the hacker group Anonymous going by the handle OperationLeaks on twitter is claiming to have damning docs on the bank that will likely be released Monday.

OperationLeaks has been teasing all day on twitter about having received documents on the bank from a disgruntled employee.

Chen's own sources within Anonymous suggest there's something real to the leaks.

In terms of substance, it's not clear what we might see. This tweet, regarding is the closest thing to anything explanatory:

He Just told me he have GMAC emails showing BoA order to mix loan numbers to not match
it's Documents.. to foreclose on Americans.. Shame

If something does go up Monday, it's likely to be at Anonleaks.ch.

I wonder what that means exactly. Assuming that there's something to this, what game were they playing?

39. The general accusation seems to be one of fraudulent foreclosure.
A bank "losing the payment information" and then taking the house, even if all payments were current and complete.

13. I can't imagine anything that would really hurt B of A.
The Rich and powerful are above the law in this country. Nothing changes no matter what revelations are disclosed.
I would like to believe that this time it will be different....that the crimes exposed will be so outrageous, so criminal that heads will roll.
I would like to see BofA be brought down and it's wealth distributed to it's victims. Show the world that such usery and criminal activity will not be tolerated.
Im still a dreamer.................

19. Bank of America
= Bank of Assholes IMO.

I had a friend that banked with them. She had been having $100.00 a month sent to her investment portfolio with them for years.

When she went on to retiree, they had no record of said portfolio. :wtf:

I don't know what happened with this as I no longer hear from this woman.

I could go on and on with other examples but I won't.

The bottom line is: Stay away from these crooks that demand fingerprinting you to cash a damn check! FUCK THEM!

:dem: :kick:

22. I used to work at Bank of Corruptia back in the 90's.
An awful lot of relatives and drinking cronies used to collect pay checks without ever working. They would literally sit around socializing in their wee cliques. The rest of us worked our asses off for pittance, carrying their loads.

Not to mention, they had a $100 bounty for who ever could think of new ways to fee charge customers.

I'd like to see that bank sink.

REUTERS: Hacker group plans BofA e-mail release Monday

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Reuters) - Anonymous, a hacker group sympathetic to WikiLeaks, plans to release e-mails obtained from Bank of America Corp early Monday morning, according to posts on the group's Twitter feed.

The group, unrelated to the document leak website founded by Julian Assange, said it plans to release documents exposing "corruption and fraud" at the largest U.S. bank by assets.

A Bank of America spokesman was not immediately available for comment.

32. Bravo...BUT, it will go no where...
...these crooks and criminals could be exposed for beheading regular
old customers...and it will go no place.

Their rotten friends in D.C. will protect them. Diane Sawyer/ABC and the rest
will simply chuckle and ignore the story.

One can only hope but I'm not holding my breath in regards to any one of
these clowns paying a "price" for creating financial mayhem in America.
