ARBIL, Iraq (AFP) - The director of the Iraqi Red Crescent in the Kurdish city of Arbil and his wife have been found dead in the main northern city of Mosul.

The bodies of Barzan Omar Ahmad and his wife Sazane Ismail Abdullah, who also works at the Red Crescent, were discovered late Friday on a street in Hay al-Intisar in Mosul, Red Crescent spokesman Hawar Fares said Saturday.

2. Oh dear, Bush will need another weeks vacation on this.
Where is that man? Even Cheney has left the country. I guess Condi is going to hold the fort.

6. Bush was bass-fishing for TV today - sounds like a joke, but true.
Bass-fishing in a stocked pond.

3. I thought the Kurdish area was completely on our side? This is just
terrible. But if Bush doesn't take time out from vacations, fund raising, and throwing baseballs at home plates then neither are we allowed time to grieve for these people who tried to help suffering citizens.

4. Must have been collaborators.
The Iraqi people only kill collaborators and those trying to suppress their wills.

5. They hate us for our freedoms.
Just the sight of all that anticipated freedom sends them into a homicidal rage.

9. That's a very serious accusation,
particularly against people who cannot defend themselves, what with being dead and all.

Got any evidence for it?
