Bush: 'Small faction' fighting to take over Iraq
CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) -- Amid an uprising in Iraq, President Bush declared Saturday that insurgents are "a small faction" trying to derail democracy in a battle he vowed the U.S. military and its allies will win.

"Coalition forces will continue a multi-city offensive ... until these enemies of democracy are dealt with," Bush said in his weekly radio address.

Baghdad and parts of central Iraq were chaotic on Friday, the first anniversary of the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime, as Bush discussed military operations with national security aides and with three foreign leaders who have sent troops.

"A small faction is attempting to ... seize power" as the June 30 date for Iraqi sovereignty draws near, the president said on the radio, and to delay the turnover of sovereignty "is precisely what our enemies want."

8. I wonder if he thinks the daily killing of our troops
is a "SMALL" sacrifice......

I think Move On should design an ad around the
film showing AWOL joking to the press about
the missing WMD's while a second screen scrolls
down the names of the hundreds of dead American
soldiers who have died in Iraq looking for those
WMD's.

Really funny huh?

11. Calling it a small faction makes the military look real bad
The US military have been fighting this small faction for a week now. This small faction is still fighting, still killing our soldiers and still capturing hostages. This small faction was able to wrest the control of three cities from the control of this military. The military is still trying to regain control of Kut from this small faction.

If our military cannot win over a small faction, then it has been highly overrated.

See, calling it a small faction makes the military look bad. It you called it what it is, one of the major factions of the Iraqi people, the only person who looks bad is Bush&Co. The military is being Bush's whipping boy once again.

Here's a question for ya, dumbass. Do you think that "small faction" has fewer followers or more, in the wake of our experiment with collective punishment in Falloojeh?

17. enemies of democracy
I am so ashamed of this stupid fascist pig we have for a president. All he is capable of is clowing around before cameras and joking before hand picked audiences, making fun of other people and above all, making jokes about the lies he told aobut the existence of WMD.

We should never allow this country to forget that grevious blow to our country. An evil man, with evil intent, lied to his own people about invading a relatively defenseless and already beaten country and virtually leveling it to the ground. He then brought in all the corporations to rebuild what he destroyed on false pretenses. He is responsible for the tens of thousands of innocent babies, children, women and old men who were innocents. He is a murderer--and a ruthless murderer who knows not honor in any form whatsoever.

There is your example of democracy in action. Not to mention the stealing of an election in his own country and the secrecy and lies he uses as his modus operandi so he can get away with his lies to the people of this country

He needs to be impeached before any more damage is inflicted upon us and upon the people of Iraq. He is a war criminal and so is Powell and Rice, Rumsfeld wolfowitz and the whole club.
