Group seeks DOJ records in DeLay case
Source: NBC - KXAN

WASHINGTON (KXAN) - Former U.S. House Majority Tom DeLay and his actions will again be the focus of legal action after Citizens for Reponsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a lawsuit in federal court Tuesday.

The lawsuit is against the Department of Justice for failing to provide records related to the government’s investigation of DeLay.

CREW filed Freedom of Information Act requests on Oct. 19 with both DOJ and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. The group wanted to investigate the relationship between former Texas lawmaker Jack Abramoff and others, in addition to DOJ's decision not to prosecute DeLay.

DOJ officials denied the request for release of records, and said to do so would interfere with open law enforcement proceedings.

1. Interesting, frustrating, but he's not in prison now and probably will never serve a day.
His brownshirts cost Gore the election in 2000. No one even wants to admit it happened. Look at what has happened to us since then.

was just a loyal but expendable soldier bug of the Texas money colony. You don't get rid of unwanted bugs by going after the workers and not the queens.
