Union Chapters File Suit Against Collective Bargaining Law
Source: Channel 3000 Madison

Two public union chapters have filed a lawsuit challenging the state's contentious new collective bargaining law.
Union chapters representing Madison public employees and Dane County firefighters said the law hinders unions' ability to sustain themselves and individuals' ability to associate with them.
They said the law creates conflict between union and non-union public workers, and the state Senate lacked the necessary quorum when it passed the law on March 9.

I wonder how much all of these lawsuits are going to cost Wisconsin? Enough to run the schools for a month, probably.

1. This could have been avoided if Walker and his tribe of zombies...
Edited on Sat Mar-26-11 07:27 PM by rasputin1952
had thought of this before they tried to railroad the Unions and others.

Jobs, budget deficits were nothing to these clowns, they insisted on the ridiculous point of doing away with collective bargaining, even after the Union members decided to accept most of the concessions.

The Unions are using the resources available...and the law is the way to to go after what Walker and cronies did. By the way, at this point, the Unions are picking up the cost of the legal battle.

rare indeed is seen such political suicide, it's actually interesting to watch. With each step, the R's in WI are moving ever closer to self-immolation; in all honesty I've have never seen such political miscalculation, it's almost as if they are following the the worst possible play book that they could find. Which suits me fine.

4. There should be a felony charges against the entire Walker adminsitration
include the Fitzgerald family - they need to go to prison and rot there for life.

5. I wish there were some...
but I can't see anything felonious just yet.

Walker would have to impeached, removed from office and then charged, I think that is the way it is supposed to work.Or perhaps they could use charges in the impeachment process, but they are two separate processes.
