First federal agency to acknowledge medical marijuana removes anti-tumor information from database |
|
Source: The Colorado IndependentLast week, The American Independent was first to report that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) had added a section on medical marijuana to its treatment database, making it the first federal agency to formally recognize marijuana’s medicinal properties. Now, NCI has altered the page, removing any mention of the evidence that marijuana can diminish and even reverse tumor growth. <snip> Read more: http://coloradoindependent.com/81475/first-federal-agency-to-acknowledge-medical-marijuana-removes-anti-tumor-information-from-database

The truth.
Everything else is okay, though.

5. This is not transparency and the dysfunctional, insane "War on Drugs" has gone on for far too long. |
|
Marijuana should be legalized plain and simple, these asinine laws have caused much more misery and heartbreak against the American People than any drug.
Thanks for the thread, bananas.

7. Agreed -- but it's Obama's baby now |
|
He hired a very hard line war on drugs type to head up the DEA, so he has made (yet another) decision to continue the failed policies of his predecessors.

And he knows about every single decision, no matter how minute.

I was responding to Uncle Joe, who pointed out that the "insane 'War on Drugs' has gone on too long." By appointing a hard line abolitionist as his drug czar, this President has opted to continue that insanity. The decision to remove the information about marijuana's impact on cancerous tumors from a federal database is a predictable by-product of that insanity. Get it?
