(Wisconsin) will continue implementing collective bargaining law despite judge's order
Source: Wisconsin State Journal

State officials say they will move forward with Wisconsin's controversial collective bargaining law, despite a judge's order barring its implementation — and a threat of sanctions against anyone who violates it.

Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch said he has a legal obligation to implement all laws that have been passed by the Legislature, signed by Gov. Scott Walker and "published into law."

Huebsch added that the Department of Justice and his legal counsel agree that the measure has met those requirements "and is now effective law."

... Huebsch's comments raise questions about whether he or other state officials could be held in contempt of court after a hearing Tuesday, when Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi made it clear that any further implementation of the law is barred.

30. No way! He's Republican!!! He knows he's immune from any prosecution.
Why else would he do this?
He's got the whole legal system under his control and can do any damn thing he wants.

4. The judge needs to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of the entire Walker administration
to be thrown in jail with contempt of court citation, sentenced to 30 days in maximum security prison.

9. She does. But will she? And what will Walker, et. al.,
do then? Will they ignore the contempt citation like they've ignored the TROs?

What will the PEOPLE of Wisconsin do about this naked power grab?

19. If the judge had any guts to do it, the police would HAPPILY arrest them
and let them rot in prison.

State Police would do. Daddy Fitz is their boss after all. Would they try to protect Walker, et. al. from the police?

Would the people back them up? General strike?

26. compared to walker trying to arrest 14 dems who left the state
the judge probably would be in her LEGAL rights to arrest anyone violating the TRO which is quite clear they are doing since publishing the law is a violation of the TRO and hence it's not published.

So there's two things wrong here with this ****** argument 1. it didn't legally get out of the administration and 2. it's not published

5. If Huebsch has a license to practice law...
he needs to be disbarred. And any attorney that provided him the advice should also have their license taken away. And anyone that is not an attorney that gave the advice should be prosecuted.

21. Financial sanctions will NOT be enough. They need to be in jail for contempt of court
and remain there for the maximum time allowed for contempt of court. The TRO will remain in effect, and the Walker government will be barred from using state funds to implement the law. Or fight the losing fight on taxpayer money - they will have to get it directly from the Kochroaches. That is the only fund allowed and it will cost the Kochroaches billions of dollars.

I have requested that my wife cease buying Bounty towels and look for other alternatives.

No more Georgia Pacific or Koch products in my house.

13. Well... so much for the rule of law
until they think they need to smear someone with flaunting the rule of law. When are we EVER going to understand that they say what they want when they want and there is NEVER any consistency to it. If they were consistent then they would box themselves into a corner at some point. So the have to stay fluid and say whatever they need to at the time and rely on the fact the public has very little long term memory. If they get called on it, they shout that person down and say it's a completely different situation.

14. So it's official now.
Wisconsin is a dictatorship where the executive branch is above the law.

These assclowns need to be reigned in somehow or Republicans in other states will decide that they too can get away with whatever the hell they want.

22. And will never get the vote.
They cheated. They won't re-vote.

The recall will be fast and furious, it will give the Democratic majority, and prepare for impeachment and the eventual indictment of that said criminal.

Tell Walker and his thugs to back off.

If they don't back off, do a 1 week general strike and boycott of known republican businesses. That will get their attention
