Walker administration will comply with judge's order halting collective bargaining law
Source: Wisconsin State Journal

The state's new law to dramatically limit collective bargaining for public workers has not been published and is not in effect, a judge said Thursday.

An official in Republican Gov. Scott Walker's administration said he plans to comply with that order and to suspend preparations for deducting money from workers' paychecks.

... "Once again, one Dane County judge is doing everything she can to stand in the way of our efforts to improve the economy and create jobs," said Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau. "This is judicial activism at its worst."

And his brother, Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald, R-Horicon, repeated previous statements that Sumi "wants to keep interjecting herself into the legislative process with no regard to the state constitution."

1. Hey a-hole Fitzy
Edited on Thu Mar-31-11 11:28 AM by turtle-turtle
They DO NOT CREATE JOBS, period!

And the State Constitution says that Rethugs must follow the Open Meetings law - even Fitzy said so - they did all of this with 2 hours notice. Illegal as hell, has to be posted with 24 hours BEFORE the meeting can be done.

And the judge ASKED you to revote with 24 hour notice - and yet you said "We have the votes, we don't need a revote" - I call bullshit on your statement. As a result, the recalls will continue. I'm sure an indictment will follow shortly after Van Hollen resigns due to *cough* "personal matter", and a Democratic Attorney General of Wisconsin will be inserted, to the chagrin of Walker.

11. I heard they don't have the votes to pass it again.
The recalls are scaring several of the Repugs. I can't find where I rad it, but Fitzy had said they won't try to pass it again because he didn't think they had the votes now.

Walker is full of crap. He knows that if he says that, low information voters will believe it.

25. Low-information voters are becoming scarcer in Wisconsin.
And since RW propaganda is designed to have its effect on low-info types (by providing them sound bytes to use as substitutes for informed opinions), the electorate is becoming inoculated against bullshit.

19. You know what their problem is?
They are taking this very personally. They are treating everyone and anyone who disagrees with them as an "enemy" to be beaten. Their egos have gotten intertwined in this whole thing and it's made it impossible to disagree on policy without them considering it a personal attack.

It's incredibly immature and not at all conducive to good governance.

Just saying.

26. Rasmussen poll: Wisconsin voters support collective bargaining rights
Fifty-two percent said they oppose weakening collective bargaining rights, while 39 percent were in favor of it. (3/3/11)

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/03/03/rasmussen-poll-wisconsin-voters-support-collective-bargaining-rights/

Seems to me that the very honorable Judge Sumi is ruling in accordance with the law, which also coincides with the will of the people of Wisconsin.

Walker and the rest of the corporate flying monkey republicans in Wisconsin don't give a rat's ass about the people.

Their sole allegiance is to themselves and to the Koch brothers and the other wealthy anti-democratic private interests that bought their offices for them.

27. Enjoy Koch Brothers Toxic Sludge !!
Hey Walker supporters, feeling let down? Feel like the Fact Free Fear and Hate Fox Network has left you without any arrows in your quiver to use against those awful libruls?

Well just take a double-dose of Koch Brothers Toxic Sludge - Guaranteed to End Your Suffering.

And it costs only pennies, which is a good thing, because that's all you'll be making under the new Koch-sponsored government, regardless if you are public or private sector workers.

Remember, Unions destroyed America by creating weekends, 40-hour work weeks, overtime pay and they even denied children the right to work in factories like God intended.

Enjoy Koch Brothers Toxic Sludge!
