Injured Libyans arrive in Turkey

BEIJING, April 6 (Xinhuanet) -- A Turkish ship has evacuated more than 300 hundred injured people from, the Libyan cities, of Misrata and Benghazi.

The ship docked in the port of Cesme in Western Turkey on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a Red Crescent ship carrying food and medicine from Turkey has arrived in Benghazi.

The evacuees appeared happy to reach safe shores.

Medics wheeled the injured on stretchers into a portside field hospital.

Also, reply #15 in the thread I was pointing you to has an article about this in it: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=102&topic_id=4800047&mesg_id=4801537

Lastly, at the end of the BBC article you linked to...

The Ankara would pick up about 100 more wounded before setting sail for the Turkish port of Cesme, where the casualties would be treated in a well-equipped, well-supplied, modern hospital, officials said.
