TRENTON — Roughly 50 members of a neo-Nazi group took to the streets of New Jersey's capital city on Saturday to speak out against illegal immigrants, crime and the nation's leaders.

But the National Socialist Movement members received little support from protesters who braved rain showers and chilly temperatures to oppose the group and its ideology, which they say is racist and anti-Semitic.

The opposing camps were kept separated during the 90-minute rally at the Statehouse by dozens of state police troopers — some who shepherded police dogs — and Trenton officers.

No major problems were reported, but it was not immediately clear if any arrests had been made.

12. I have known a couple of former national socialists.

They were "intellectuals," not storm trooper types. They recognized that national socialism was evil in retrospect. They stated that they believed that racial communities should be separate, and that socialism should prevail within the respective, separate communities. That's how they hoodwink people, with a phony line like that. Of course, in reality, it means oppression, war, genocide, and capitalism, not socialism.
