Robbers — possibly in George Bush masks — hit Springs bank

Two men were said to be wearing George Bush Halloween masks when they robbed a bank in north Colorado Springs on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The robbery alarm was reported about 11:20 a.m. at American National Bank, 1095 W. Garden of the Gods Road, police said.

The robbers — apparently wearing a Halloween mask in the likeness of former President George W. Bush or his father — were seen fleeing eastbound on Woodmen Road in a blue Dodge Durango with a silver stripe on the side, authorities said.

It's unclear whether the men escaped with cash.
