Colombia's Prosecutor general's Office will issue an international arrest warrant for a former intelligence director who was granted political asylum in Panama, newspaper El Tiempo reported Saturday.

According to the newspaper, Prosecutor General Viviane Morales is set to indict former DAS director Maria Pilar Hurtado for the illegal wiretapping of supreme court magistrates, journalists, human rights workers and opposition politicians.

Sources told El Tiempo that it's a matter of days that the Prosecutor General's Office will issue an international arrest warrant for Del Pilar Hurtado and Bernardo Moreno, the chief of staff of former President Alvaro Uribe.

Both are suspected of having ordered lower-ranked intelligence officials to illegally spy on what they deemed government opponents.

4. The U.S./Bush Junta more than likely aided Uribe/Hurtado in illegal spying in Colombia
and the current U.S. government more than likely facilitated Hurtado's flight from justice and the instant asylum given to her in the U.S. client state of Panama, as part of a cover up of this and other Bush Junta crimes in Colombia. They have also facilitated removal of death squad witnesses from Colombia and have helped to "launder" Uribe's image with cushy academic sinecures at Georgetown and Uribe and appointment to a prestigious international legal commission.

The Bush Junta was shoveling $7 BILLION of U.S. taxpayers' hard-earned dollars in military aid to Colombia. What for? Stopping drug trafficking? Har-har.
