Former media tycoon Conrad Black has to report to federal prison by Sept. 6, according to a judge's sentencing order released Monday.
Black had his sentence reduced to 42 months last month, after an appellate court threw out two of his four 2007 convictions related to defrauding Hollinger International Inc., the one-time parent company of the Chicago Sun-Times.
In 2007, Black was sentenced to 78 months and had served about 29 months when he was released from prison last year pending his appeal. With time served, Black, 66, will have to spend about 13 months behind bars.

U.S. District Judge Amy St. Eve also ordered last week that the U.S. government return $5.5 million to Black. The former Hollinger chairman had forfeited $6.1 million, which represented the proceeds from the misappropriation of corporate funds through bogus non-compete agreements.
