Fake Democrats lose in Wis. primary recalls
APBy SCOTT BAUER - Associated Press | AP – 7 mins ago

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — All six fake Democrats lost to Democrats supported by the party in primaries Tuesday that are the first in a series of recall elections targeting nine Wisconsin state senators for their positions on Republican Gov. Scott Walker's divisive union rights restrictions.

The winners advance to take on incumbent Republicans targeted for recall on Aug. 9.

The state Republican Party orchestrated the placement of the fake Democrats on Tuesday's ballot, thereby delaying the general election for a month. That gave the Republican incumbents more time to campaign and distance themselves from the turmoil over the union law that they voted to support in March, spurring the recall efforts.

Five of the six winners had at least 65 percent of the vote, based on unofficial results. The sixth, Shelly Moore, had 54 percent.

really make the Democrats GOTV in Aug. I'd sure be pissed if I lived in WI and the Republicans tried to gum up the works with this kind of nonsense.

who faked an injury in the game against the USA women's team.

That phony lying, cheating stunt (R) wound up causing Brazil to be THE LOSERS they are. The same fate awaits the degenerate Republicon party with this BS crap.

The GOP were robo calling people not to bother to vote - targeted at African American voters. They have been indicted.

90. This paragraph was particularly interesting...........
The indictments might be the first in the country involving Election Day attempts to suppress voting using robo-calls, experts said. The case also appears to be a rarity nationwide, one in which prosecutors might have the physical evidence necessary to prove intent to commit voter suppression, experts said.

100. repugs are so concerned with voter fraud
that happens so rarely, but don't look behind the curtain at ELECTION FRAUD. Now that's a biggie. As Little boot's once stated about too bad this country wasn't a dictatorship and he was the dictator. Because, after voter suppression, intimidation, blacklisting and every other kind of base ploys by repugs, I believe that most believe in winning any way be it suppression, cheating or sleazy Rovian lying. How can anyone vote for someone who is so unethical, so immoral?

98. I heard on Rachel
that the repugs forced the primary at the tune of approximately 1/2 million dollars of the taxpayer's money just so they could pull this charade. Just goes to show you where their real priorities are and it's not their dwindling budget. Also heard that they might have wanted time to get outside money in their repug coffers. The Koch brothers will probably be in front of the line with their wallets open, I hope their money is wasted.

I'm assuming "we" came up with this handle, FAKE DEMOCRATS. But a moment's consideration might have had us call them "Republican Spy Candidates" or "Republican Suicide Bombers" or "Kamakazi Republican Strawmen", anything.

The way it is, I feel vaguely insulted whenever it is brought up.

Kinda like why it's PRO-CHOICE vs. PRO-LIFE
instead of PRO-FREEDOM vs. ANTI-CHOICE.

Double-speak, I know. But a little cleverness can go a long way in these matters.

Depends on what you're fishing for and if you have a boat.

Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Northern, White Bass, Walleye, Lake Trout Muskellunge, Perch, Cisco?

You might want to start at "Spauldings Bridge." ...to just cast a line or two.

With a boat, half mile off Malcom Bay There's shallow rise.

If you do scuba... you would enjoy the sliding rocks area.

88. I haven't wet a line in a long time.
Even though the family photo album has more pictures of stringers of walleyes then people.

Maybe after labor day when the tourists are gone.

If your a walleye guy. You'd should go to Eureka once the ice goes out early in the spring. They run up the Fox to spawn. Use a wolf river rig and you'll slaughter them during the run. It's bumper to bumper boats though.

For perch you could put in at the inlet on the east side or by county park on the west end.

47. no, just lose
John Kerry's playbook from 2004 would have come in handy:
- go wind surfing as a photo op, buy a jock strap during a photo op (yes, he really did that)
- let a group like the Swift Boat vets lie about you for weeks, don't respond
- never run negative ads against your GOP opponent
then when that still isn't enough to lose:
- let them steal the election (in Ohio); concede immediately

65. We need to gain 3 seats.
That means not losing any of the 3 Dems running and gaining 3 seats back. We should be able to do this. The state is seriously pissed off, but I know the Repukes have some slime up their sleeves for the rest of the elections. Next up, July 19th is the first Senate recall election.

Will there be a not-so-phony Republican candidate set up to run "against" him in a primary, to stall for time?

72. Not exactly. If they try this ploy again, it will again be by running fake Dems
against Feingold the Dem candidate, whoever he/she might be.

Slimeballs endorsed Walker in November and they put this on the front page. They even call them "fake Democrats" and listed their Republican records.

71. Seems to me that this was a referendum on Republicans.
Everybody who intends to vote for the R incumbents probably got out to vote for the fake Dems just to help their cause along. The fact that they failed this badly means that the Rs have some real problems, and bodes well for next month.
