Lori Klein Explains Pointing Gun At Reporter
Source: Huffington/AOL

A gun-toting Arizona state senator is on the defensive, drawing criticism after reports emerged that she pointed her raspberry-pink semi-automatic pistol at a reporter while demonstrating its laser sight during a recent interview.

It's not the first time that Republican Sen. Lori Klein of Anthem has made headlines in connection with a personal weapon.

2. She's just trying to cover her ass because looking cute and threatening didn't work for her.
And, after the reporter exposed her with her own statements.

3. In some states toy handguns must be brightly colored....
I guess her piece was designed for thugs to get the drop on cops who are trained to ID toy guns from the real thing.

4. What an idiot
it wasn't bad enough that she did something stupid, now she has to make up a story that the reporter jumped in front of the gun.

7. Interesting comment in the article:
"The incident is troublesome for gun-rights advocates, said Terry Allison, a gun-safety instructor and former president of the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association." Yeah, reality generally is.

But as to her reasons -- to show a laser light, one would normally point the laser (in this case, the gun) at a background where it would show up. Pointing it at someone's chest would not be a good way for the person to see the laser (since unlike on TV shows, laser beams do not show up, only where they hit something -- given that what a laser is is coherent light that does not diverge like a regular light beam, so is not visible as a beam). So what would be the point of pointing the gun at the reporter, rather than at a background where it would be visible?

14. The point is to have gun fun like in the movies.
The fact that the gun could actually kill the target lit up by its laser it seems of no concern to this psychopath.

8. Guns don't kill people.
Stupid right-winger politicians haphazardly pointing loaded weapons at reporters kill people.

10. Her excuse now is that the reporter stepped in front of her gun
Oh yeah; that happens to me all the time. I mean, I'll just be walking along, minding my own business, and I'll accidentally get in the line of fire when someone's demonstrating their weapon. Talk about embarrassing! Other times, when I see someone showing off a weapon, I just can't help myself. I have to step in front of it.

How stupid is Lori Klein? Or how stupid does she think people are? This explanation smells like low tide.
