Florida gays in marriage lawsuit
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3630951.stm
Six same-sex couples in Florida have filed a lawsuit to try to overturn the US state's ban on gay marriages.
The couples were denied marriage licences, and their action is similar to those in several other states.

Correspondents say the legal challenge pits gay marriage advocates in Florida against Governor Jeb Bush.

Mr Bush is the brother of the US president, who backs proposals to amend the constitution to define marriage as a legal union between man and woman.

The suit was being filed in Key West, a city with a large gay population which adopted a resolution last month supporting same-sex marriages.
