Iraqi Gunmen Offer to Swap U.S. Soldier
--BAGHDAD, Iraq - An American soldier missing for a week was shown unhurt but clearly frightened in an Arab television broadcast in which the 20-year-old was surrounded by masked gunmen who offered to exchange him for imprisoned Iraqi fighters and claimed they had more hostages. --

3. ..ain't gonna happen.

Bet they end up releasing him anyway. Most of the hostages seem to be getting out of captivity by hook or crook.

4. Iraqi Gunmen, I think not
They should be called Iraqi Freedom Fighters. Not unlike the Minute Men in American history.

5. I dont know
The other hostages werent American. They might be more inclined to make a statement to the US by killing one of ours. Whatever their motivations may be, we need to be making "arrangements" and get him out of there.
