'Rape victim taunted by attacker when she was locked in cell next door' after swearing in court
Edited on Mon Jul-18-11 04:28 PM by cory777
Source: Daily Mail

A 'rape victim' found in contempt of court after she called a defence lawyer a ‘b***h’ was thrown in a jail cell next to her attacker, she claims.

The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, snapped after defence lawyer Gabi Silver suggested she brought the attack on herself.

She claims she was kidnapped and raped last month in Detroit, Michigan, and was testifying in court against Curtis King.

To make things even worse she claims her time in a holding cell was actually spent next door to her alleged attacker.

1. I'm beginning to think that "rape-friendly" may be the easiest way to identify psychopaths

4. There's no way the person who put her in the cell next to him didn't know what they were doing
And I really don't think there are any good answers as to why. Just excuses. Maybe personal to the individual guard, maybe systemic to the prison. But anyone in the chain of command who forwarded this - shouldn't be in a chain of command. ANY chain of command.

Clear enough?

3. A more credible source than the Daily Mail doesn't mention her being in a cell next to the alleged..

...attacker.

http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/region/detroit/rape-victim-jailed-after-emotional-outburst-in-court-takes-the-stand-again

Here's one that says "She said she wants to sue the court for making her sit in jail near her accused attacker."

http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/28564101/detail.html

The ABA Journal says she was sentenced to three days but served only one, and doesn't mention being jailed near the defendant.

The Daily Mail publishes so much bullshit, it's very hard to believe. Maybe the woman was jailed near the defendant, maybe he said something to her. I can't tell.
