1. The Apple store here is a complete zoo
It's the size of half a football field. You literally cannot count the number of people in the store 'cause while you're counting, 10 people walk out with armloads of stuff and 50 more people walk in. My wild guess 300-400 people at any one time. I've never had a problem getting someone to help me within a minute of walking in. At worst, they book you an appointment with a 20 minute wait, but in the meantime they'll answer questions and show you stuff.

I've had other phones but the iPhone is by far the best technology on the market and I've only got the 3GS. I've got a 17" iMac and it's the best laptop I've ever owned. My poor iPad has been through living hell - it gets dragged everywhere, used for everything imaginable including at work. It's been dropped, sat on, used as a coaster for hot soup (don't try this at home). The kids have had iPods for years with never a problem.

3. My local mall has an Apple Store and a Microsoft Store.
The Apple Store is half the size, but consistently has twice as many people in it.

Plus half the people in the Microsoft Store are kids playing with the Xboxes.

6. Apple is the most evil corporation I have ever seen
I ranks right along side Monsanto and Republicans / Tea baggers as pure evil.

Their products are unmitigated garbage. They are built and designed for the absolute lowest common denominator (like tea baggers), they claim to be all righteous, revolutionary - but are in fact the worst possible crap.

They are designed for morons who cant work the most simple technology - and therefore morons LOVE it.

The entire business model of Apple is to lock you into the their ecosystem - they play entirely on emotional consumer responses to products (which is just disgusting, to see people actually responding to this mindless mentality is probably the saddest thing I have seen in the modern world - it symbolizes absolutely everything that is wrong with this planet).

I just wish people would wake up to how evil this company is - it is just so incredibly sad.

Right now they are on the verge of banning all imported Android competition - thats their business model.

IPhones are no where near the best hand set on the market and never, ever have been. Marketed like that and people believe it.
iMacs are over priced pieces of junk.
iPads are easily the worst performing tablets on the market - by a long, long way.

I have been building software on both macs and pcs for almost 15 years - I know what I am talking about here people - you aer being totally scammed.

7. If you're building software for Macs
then you are part of the problem.

8. On them, not for them.
Apple fans are without a slither of doubt the equivalent of Global Warming Deniers and Creationists - completely ignorant and in denial.

The culture of consumer worship can not be better symbolized by anything than Apple - the absolute ultimate in corporate worship - just incredible.

And so often by people who rant and rave at corporate control, indoctrination, corruption, and environmental abuse. Apple is THE POSTER CHILD for all of these evil things.

From their role in coltan in Africa (the scourge of Congo - 5 million dead), to their suicide factories in China - all the while people worship them ??!!

It is seriously depressing.

14. Ranting against apple users is the best you've got?
Mmm, I smell a troll.

BTW, I know real software developers (with their own mid-sized DoD company) and am related to one and while they all have an opinion of their preferences, I can tell you that none of them would have delivered any of the idiotic statements you just made. Real software developers/engineers will list pluses and minuses on both sides, stressing what kind of environment each platform and system excels in.

9. You seem to have a lot of emotion invested in this; that may be unhealthy.
You're also a bit short of facts about, for example, what sort
of people use Apple products. The answer is, basically, "a
cross-section of everybody".

What software do you create?

10. That's just your opinion, I'm a software developer who prefers macs
And I see more and more developers using them.

In fact, I just got done meeting with 3 German developers and each one were using macs.

I know I like prefer them for the high quality and attention to detail they show in both hardware and software.

15. My relative's company uses both...
it is a mid-sized software simulation business which does more than 80% of its work for the DoD in northern VA. There are pluses and minuses to both systems, but they use both to accomplish their goals and to continue with support help along the way.

Gah! Computers are just tools and are not the debil in disguise. :eyes:

12. I've been a network admin, cartographer and programmer and my Mac is the best computer I've had
ever.

and just because a machine is easy to use doesn't make it bad --quite the contrary.

but you're so biased against Macs and add to that you just called people who like them stupid (essentially) so you're completely biased and give unreliable and incorrect statements.

furthermore, that you expect people to be able to operate a PC or you consider them stupid is the height of arrogance.

11. So you believe they don't DESERVE their wealth?
Despite having invented unique products that consumers decided they wanted to have?

I have no problem using taxes to pay for Government spending, and to raise tax rates on the wealthy (myself included) to so as to cushion the tax burden on those who make less. I have a BIG problem with using tax policy as a punitive weapon againt those that are seen as "too successful".

16. Not surprised, they have really pushed their marketing to the extreme...
you can get their products in pretty much any Walmart, Best Buy, AT&T, Verizon store you want in addition to their own stores. They've done an excellent job with selling their brand over the past decade.
