Mike does the honors for 2 aides
Source: New York Post

Mayor Bloomberg last night married two of his aides in an elegant ceremony at Gracie Mansion before about 150 relatives and friends — then reminded them not to stay out too late because they had to be at work in the morning.

Consumer Affairs Commissioner Jonathan Mintz, 47, and John Feinblatt, 60, a chief policy adviser, could hardly complain.

1. OK, Bloomie just managed to raise himself up a bit
This is a very classy thing to do and long overdue. I'm glad NY joined the ranks of the sane. I wish NM would. We got rid of the death penalty and now it's time to get rid of marriage bigotry.

Their daughters are adorable.

3. Woo-hoo!
hopefully this will catch on, AND put another wedge between the red states and the sane states. I am sad that the president didn't warmly embrace gay marriage. He triangulated himself right out of this important issue.
