Far Right Domestic Terrorism on Par with Foreign Threat, Experts Say
Source: CNN

The threat of domestic terrorist attacks in the United States similar to last week's fatal bombing and assault in Norway is significant and growing, analysts said Monday.

The greatest threat of large-scale attacks come from individuals and small groups of extremists who subscribe to radical Islamic or far right-wing ideologies, said Gary LaFree, director of the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism, or START....

(E)xtremist right-wingers -- from Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh to a neo-Nazi accused of trying to bomb a Martin Luther King Day parade this year -- have shown a willingness to target the public, LaFree said.

Such groups are among the fastest-growing extremist organizations in the country, the Southern Poverty Law Center reported in February. Right wing anti-government groups grew by 60% in 2010 over the previous year, the center reported, attributing much of the growth to militia groups....

1. The teabaggin' kkkluckers have stirred up things pretty good.
With the teabaggin' kkkluckers getting media attention especially when they are showing their racist placards, that probably reenforces the far reichwingnuts like the KKK ideas that they are mainstream and not being heard. I'm sure one of them will think of something to do to make a name for himself or hoping that the revolution will begin. Pushing that hatred will get a few of them real stirred up and do something stupid like attack a mosque, synogogue or a black church.
It's coming. The conservanazis like Beckkk and O'lielly get them some goofy talking points to get them started. Those two will probably demonize some group to get things going.

10. Reichwingers hate liberals, gays, lesbians, Jews, African American, Muslims, aethists,
Hispanics, Obama, the Government, the IRS, Homeland Security, the FBI, the ATF, some of them hate Catholics, Cajuns............. the list goes on.

The far right wing idiots are a blend of KKK, militia, anti-tax and anti-government.

I grew up in SE Texas and I was a double-hated person by the KKK. Catholic and Cajun. :toast:

I've known a few KKKluckers and backers of militias in my days around the country. Some real dummies with guns.

To be a real redneck around here you have to have a NRA sticker, a confederate flag sticker and an impeach Obama sticker. Then, boy, you're a real redneck hero.

4. If they are looking for domestic terrorism, they should focus their search
on the nation's capital.

5. Doubtful. As much of an arse as Cantor is, I don't see him having the guts to blow up anything.
Ditto his fellow Republicans/Libertarians.

You can call a bill or a vote or signing a bill terrorism if you want, but that doesn't make it so.

11. Works for me.
I locked the doors on my pickup truck one day and my brother said, "why'd you do that?". I told him that I had to 'cause there are lots of white republikan christians in the area and I don't trust them at all. I'm a Vietnam vet. I have a right not to trust their sorry asses.
