A gun totting judge! Why does the judge have to be armed in a courtroom considering there are armed police or bailiffs already present?

1. It's not about whether he "has" to be armed, it's whether he has the right.
We'll all be safe when everyone is packing.

4. I personally dont object
to a judge having a gun in a courtroom provided they are qualified to handle the weapon safely, not sure if they need to be carrying it outside the courtroom though.

5. Defendants should definitely be packing
Of anyone in the courtroom, they're the ones most likely at risk of life, liberty or property.

6. If the judges are armed the expense of police and bailiffs is no longer
needed. Why should the taxpayers of Wisconsin pay for a job the judge can do for himself. It is time for Judge Dredd.

7. Won't packing heat affect people with fear? I would think so. I think guns should only be
on police in a Courtroom situation.
