Honduran Troops to Quit Iraq as Soon as Possible

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras (Reuters) - Honduras will withdraw its 370 troops from Iraq (news - web sites) "in the shortest possible time," President Ricardo Maduro said on Monday.

"I have told the coalition countries that the troops are going to return from Iraq," Maduro said in a speech on national television and radio.

"I have ordered... the carrying out of the decision taken in the shortest possible time and under safe conditions for our troops."

mandate will be so small - and these folks realize this now - that any meaningful UN invovlement must wait for Kerry.

That is, if our US Media will allow a Kerry win.

7. The UN should not accept a role *under US auspices*
The UN should make the subordination of the US force and the nullification of all US/Coalition arrangements the conditions for entry, period. The US administration cannot be allowed to benefit from its illegal war and mass murder.
