Fox News, Google To Hold Presidential Debate In Florida On September 22
Source: HuffintonPost.com

Fox News and Google are expected to announce plans on Thursday to host a Republican presidential debate in Florida on September 22, The Huffington Post has learned.

The forum will be moderated by network anchor Bret Baier. Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace and anchor Megyn Kelly will be panelists at the event.

Fox News has presented two debates already this election season. The first took place in South Carolina in May and the second was held in Iowa last month.

The upcoming Fox News-Google debate is expected to incorporate an interactive element. HuffPost has learned that viewers will be able to participate by submitting questions through YouTube and Fox News. They will also have the ability to vote on questions they would like to see the candidates answer.

5. Debate play-by-play - question one
Corporate Shill: "Hello everybody! Welcome to the debate! First question: what is the role of religion in government and why is the phrase 'separation of church and state' such an icky lie?"

Contestant #1: "I am more religious than the rest of you put together."
Contestant #2: "My guns are blessed by Jayzuz himself!"
Contestant #3: "God spoke to me last night and told me to smite you all!"
Contestant #4: "Obama is a dirty muzzie"
Contestant #5: "I will make church attendance mandatory! The only functions government should have are funneling money to our betters & enforcing Shariah, oops, I meant Moral Law"
Contestant #6: "Don't mind my Magic Underwear"
Contestant #7: "Don't mind mine either"
Contestant #8: "You are all going to hell if you don't vote for me!"

14. OK my two part question is this.....
Do you believe the Bible is the literal word of God? (of course they do) Then do you also believe that God made the sun and the moon stand still (physics be damned) at Joshua's behest?

Oh wow, that blows Bill O'Reilly's "The sun goes up, the sun goes down. The tides go out, the tides come in." rule all to hell.

7. Think of these as Unpresidential Debates
Since all the candidates get to prove how unpresidential they are.

15. Two things Republicans will try to do
Edited on Thu Sep-01-11 01:34 PM by wpelb
The GOPhers will try to do two things in their debate:

1. Fall over each other telling us how bad Pres. Obama is.
2. Try to depict other Republicans as being "Obama-lite," i.e., agreeing with him on some key issues (e.g., "RomneyCare" in Massachusetts will be alleged to be the model for "Obamacare").

Other than that, don't expect too much to come out of any Republican debate.
