(Reuters) - Former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn prepared to leave the United States Saturday for the first time since his May 14 arrest on charges, since dropped, that he sexually assaulted a hotel maid in New York.

Strauss-Kahn was seen leaving his luxury rental apartment in lower Manhattan Saturday afternoon with his wife Anne Sinclair and arriving by car at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Last month, prosecutors took the rare step of requesting dismissal of the charges after they discovered contradictions in the account of the maid, Nafissatou Diallo, a 32-year-old immigrant from Guinea.

A New York judge dropped all criminal charges against Strauss-Kahn on August 23, leaving him free to return to France -- where he was once seen as a leading candidate for the French presidency -- and rebuild his shattered career.

and found to be consistent. That account was not what is the basis of the dropping of her case. She lied to get into the country and about abuses suffered to get her into the country.

But what troubles me about your post is that you seem to be implying that perhaps she self inflicted her injuries to "get" DSK and have him fork over money. To believe that is to believe that she had prior knowledge that he would be in her hotel far enough in advance to do that to herself. And that you seem to imply that this woman was "other" enough to do such a thing to herself. Or that perhaps she was just attacked by some one else and coolly orchestrated it into a money making operation. I don't know. Perhaps you'd care to lay out your scenario of what you think happened so that I can understand your argument better.

10. Since I had read that she had refused the exam early on, it was more a case of her maybe having done

it later on since the news she had had one was new to me(and why i asked how far after the incident she had the exam). And yes, i personally don't consider her all that trustworthy, nor do i consider him all that trustworthy to be honest.

Just pure curiosity in my case tho since i don't think we will ever find out if she just tried to cash in on his wealth or if he really did it

What happened to him was a crime committed to stop him from running against the Globalists' Golden Boy, Sarkozy, and to install as head of the IMF, their choice, Lagarde.
