DPAInternational police organization Interpol on Friday issued a red notice for the arrest of fugitive Libyan leader Muammar Gadhafi, his son Saif al-Islam and former intelligence services chief Abdullah al-Senussi, who is also Gadhafi's brother-in-law.
France-based Interpol was acting on a request from the International Criminal Court, which has issued a warrant for the three men's arrest on charges of crimes against humanity.
The red notice enables Interpol to widely circulate arrest warrants with the intent to extradite suspects to the ICC.
Earlier this week, the spokesman for the rebels' military council in Tripoli, Anis Sharif said that Libyan rebels are surrounding Gadhafi, and it is only a matter of time until he is captured or killed.
