Orly Taitz considering challenging Feinstein
Source: Politico

Birther champion Orly Taitz says she's considering challenging Sen. Dianne Feinstein next year.

At the California Republican Party convention in Los Angeles this weekend, Taitz told the Sacramento Bee she's mulling a Senate run to use as a platform "to talk about the issues that corrupt establishment ... are refusing to talk about."

"I think I do have a chance specifically because I do speak Spanish and I speak Hebrew," she told the paper.

Taitz, a California dentist and lawyer, is best known for the round of lawsuits she's filed attempting to prove President Obama is not a U.S. citizen.

2. Speaking Spanish and Hebrew? Puh-LEEZE...
eventually the Latino voters will find out how much of a racist kook she is. I predict if she really runs against Feinstein the final vote will be Feinstein with 90+ percent of the vote.

27. The more you think about it, the more staggeringly racist that statement really is.
I mean think about it: she's basically saying all you need to do to win in California is impress the Mexicans and the Hollywood Jews.

5. The GOP would NEVER fund her campaign... not even for half an hour... but maybe the

the Teabaggers are dumb enough to throw their $$ away...

I think Taitz is just looking for attention, her 15 minutes evaporated last year....... she should just get herself a job somewhere.

9. And where do the Tea Baggers get their money from?
You should have said that the GOP would never openly fund her campaign...but I bet they would funnel money through the Tea Baggers!

10. Better than you think: republican primary b/n Taitz and Michael Reagan.
Yep, he waited until Feinstein's money was nearly all embezzled before jumping into the race.

She will loose in a most astounding manner. I wouldn't be surprised if she polls in the negative range. You know like, People would rise from the dead to vote against her!

14. Personally...
I am in favor of a primary challenge on the Democratic side against Feinstein. She is entirely too DLC for my tastes in terms of policy.

Taitz is an absolute kook and one of the original birthers. Anyone she runs against is almost garaunteed to win.

Yeah, see I kind of don't know what you are saying or which direction you are going with your comment. I usually try to clarify my proverbs or bumper sticker bits with a bit in the message section.

22. Liberals can wish all they want for a primary against Senator Feinstein, but
without an actual credible candidate, all it is is just a 'wish.'

23. right...
So we sort of have to identify a problem Before the solution is suggested and pushed. I have to tell you that if I lived in California I would be shopping for someone to replace her. I live in Minnesota and am fairly active in the Democratic party here.

26. California's going with a new system next year
For state offices, there will no longer be party primaries: there will be one open primary, with no party affiliations listed for candidates. The top two vote getters - regardless of party - go on to the general election (yes, this was a Republican idea). I don't recall whether this new system applies to any federal offices as well

18. Egad. I haven't voted for Feinstein in years. Oily Taints may have just motivated me.
It would, of course, depend on whether or not her campaign actually had a bats chance in hell of winning.
