Judge Bans CIA Contractor From Having Firearms In Colo.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- A CIA contractor who was arrested over the weekend for allegedly fighting with a man over a parking space has been banned from possessing firearms in Colorado.

Raymond Davis, 37, appeared in a Douglas County courtroom on Tuesday where he learned he was charged with felony second-degree assault; disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor; and crime of violence, a sentence-enhancer count.

Davis, who is a 5 feet 9 inches tall and 235 pounds, appeared in court with his attorney.

I must say I was surprised to see this - especially in Douglas County. Pleasantly surprised.

1. Any kind of felony conviction prohibits a person from owning firearms.
I believe it's also standard to prohibit a person prior to conviction if they're on trial for a violent felony.

2. After my encounters with "security contractors" in my foreign entanglements
I wouldn't have let them at the Nerf section at Toys R Us much less firearms. They were all ex-something for a reason, mostly being unhinged and violent.

3. For real. Contractors I saw in Iraq are all criminals.
there was a vid on youtube years ago showing them firing automatic weapons on civilians in traffic. Wish I'd saved that one.

4. I got to spend a week with an ex-Miami Police Officer
Who while sitting with a shotgun in his lap was going Glenn Beck ranting about all the injustices inflicted upon him by the Internal Affairs Division who were just out to take down a good cop. I thought this guy was going to get so worked up he was accidentally going to blow the door off.
