Rights group seeks details on Iraq civil detainees

NEW YORK, April 21 (Reuters) - The United States has failed to provide clear or consistent information on its treatment of some 10,000 civilians detained in Iraq, Human Rights Watch said on Wednesday.

U.S. military officials said they had set up a review board, but had not clarified if the board or any other body was actually hearing appeals and conducting six-month reviews, the New York-based rights group said.
