African children are bought and sold
Child trafficking was higher than any other form of human trafficking and affected most African countries, the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef) said on Wednesday.

A Unicef study found that half of African countries saw trafficking in human beings as a serious problem, particularly with regard to women and children.

In a statement issued in Johannesburg, Unicef executive director Carol Bellamy said trafficking was among the worst violations of child rights in the world.

"If we are to put an end to this brazen trade, we need courageous government leaders who will criminalise the trafficking of children in all its forms," she said.

Change the article to "Little White Anglos" or "Little Israelis" being bought and sold and then you'll get your outcry.

Until then, we are pissing in the wind.

"We are the Champions my Friend!" seems to be the motto these days.

2. Certainly not the U.N. since many of the perps are members.
This is why the U.N. NEVER does anything about African atrocities. Neither do other African nations of the E.U..

3. With the AIDS, civil wars, extreme poverty and many other issues
the children of Africa are easy targets for the people who prey upon them and Tinoire is right, no one cares unfortunately.

What the article doesn't say is who is buying these kids.
I have heard Saudi Arabia is notorious for buying slaves.
