I thought it was good that the Dems actually did something to make the Republicans upset. But since they have a majority in both houses, it'll be worse for the Dems now.

1. Great article. The Missouri Republicans have been vile in the last year

or two. Simply vicious.

The hostility Wednesday, although unusual for the Senate, has been typical in the House this year. During a recent debate, House Majority Leader Jason Crowell, a Cape Girardeau Republican, interrupted Democrats by making sounds imitating sirens and flatulence. And when Gov. Bob Holden, a Democrat, gave his State of the State address in January, House Speaker Pro Tem Rod Jetton, a Marble Hill Republican, heckled him.

It's tremendous seeing Democrats stirring themselves enough to break the tradition of getting stomped in Jefferson City.
