Obama Fuels ‘Class Resentment’ in Jobs-Plan Push, Ryan Says
Source: Business Weel

U.S. House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan accused President
Barack Obama of attempting to exploit resentment of the wealthy in
promoting his stalled economic agenda, prompting an administration
response that criticized the Wisconsin Republican.

Ryan said that Obama, in his weeks-long campaign for his jobs plan, is
“sowing social unrest and class resentment” and “pitting one group
against another.”

Carney also said a Ryan plan the House passed in April that would
convert Medicare to a system of subsidized private health coverage and
cut spending by more than $6 trillion over a decade “seems pretty
divisive to me.”

Ryan’s speech came one day after the Congressional Budget Office
reported the distribution of incomes in the U.S. has become
increasingly unequal, with the top 1 percent seeing their earnings
rise 275 percent over the past 30 years. Those whose earnings put them
in the bottom 20 percent of incomes grew by 18 percent.

There you go. By pushing Congress to take action on employment, President Obama is stoking class resentment. It is better to ignore the poor and middle class like the Republicans!

7. Good for Ryan for getting that class resentment exists, but I seem to missing his point.

Obama has not pitted one group against the other.

The overwhelming greed and lack of scruples of one group has pitted one group against the other.

The people whom we've been paying to stand between us and the other group switched sides. Now, for the most party, they aid and abet the other group instead.

No end seems in sight. And we're beginning to wake up to the idea that our elections are not what we thought anymore, either.

Not only have they taken and taken from the rest of us, with the aid of their enablers, but the bums mortgaged our futures and that of our children and grandchildren.

Resentment, my ass.

They're beyond lucky that resentment is all that is being displayed.

9. The poor child actually believes politicians lead us
I can understand his hubris, because he fancies himself a politician and leader. Class resentment is simply the next big wave in popular culture. We have spent 3 decades placing the rich and the concept of obtaining great wealth on a pedestal, and have obtained nothing for it.

Smart politicians learn to ride these waves.
