City Working To Find New Location For Protesters

OMAHA, Neb. -- Occupy Omaha protesters have told KETV NewsWatch 7 that there is no definite consensus within their group regarding where they will move their camp.

The current encampment is located near 24th and Farnam streets on a city-owned lot.

Omaha police said they made contact with the Occupy Omaha leaders on Tuesday night after receiving complaints from the public. Police said there was a mutual agreement with the protesters that they'd leave the location, but they were still in the same spot on Wednesday morning.

I have been to Occupy Omaha. There are no "leaders" to negotiate with. If some members of the public
don't like it that we the people are exercising our rights, maybe they should relocate.
