He did not jump, says widow - SA
Maria Holtzhuizen, wife of Douw Ettiene Holtzhuizen, 35, who the Scorpions claim jumped to his death last week, vowed that her family would not rest until they found out who was responsible for his death.

Holtzhuizen, a Durban businessman who was facing fraud charges involving millions of rands, is alleged to have jumped to his death from the Scorpions' offices on the sixth floor of the Southern Life Building in Field Street while he was being questioned by members of the Scorpions investigation unit.

Holtzhuizen said she did not accept the Scorpions' version of events and said her husband was a mere 60kg in weight and could not break through a shatterproof window by simply banging it with his head. The family has engaged the services of a lawyer and a private pathologist to conduct a post mortem.

"There were four Scorpions in the office, all of them big men who looked fit to me. They cannot tell me that my husband, a small, weak man, could run and bang his head against the window and fall to his death.
