Union leaders joined hundreds of Occupy Toronto protesters for a march through the city on Saturday.

A Facebook event called "Occupy Toronto: Evict Ford" says the march is being held to tell Mayor Rob Ford that Occupy protesters will not leave their encampment at St. James Park.

The fate of the protesters' encampment is in the hands of a judge who will rule on Monday whether or not this form of protest is part of their constitutional right to freedom of expression. Justice David Brown will announce his ruling at 9 a.m. ET Monday.

Darrel Smith, a lawyer for the City of Toronto, said the city is trying to balance the rights of the protesters with the rights of the residents in the area. "One of the things the court is looking at is, is there a reasonable balancing of the interest of the protesters versus those of the public," Smith said.

The Occupy Toronto protesters, along with some union representatives, are taking their protest from St. James park here in Toronto right to right-wing mayor Rob Ford's doorstep at City Hall. Mr. Ford is trying to evict them from the park, saying that they've been there long enough, and it's time for them to go home. The protesters are coming to Mr. Ford with signs asking to evict him from office!
