Report: Conte admits giving Bonds, others drugs

"A report obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle and San Jose Mercury News indicates that the owner of Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative told federal investigators he gave steroids to nearly 30 athletes, including Barry Bonds and track stars Marion Jones and Tim Montgomery."

If this is true, this is huge. I really do not want this to be true because this throws baseball (and other sports) records into doubt.

It seems that Conte is throwing everybody under the bus to save himself.

3. I agree about Track and Field

T & F is such pure athletics that drug enhancement would mean quite an edge. They have to have such a tough anti-doping regimen. But this designer steroid was undetectable until they got that syringe in the mail.

Are all records and champions now suspect?

All of these records are tainted bullshit. Watered down pitching, band box stadiums and steroids. Babe Ruth would come to bat hung over and still perform at a ridiculously high level. I have no respect for Bonds and do not recognize his records.
