Second N.C. Teen Dies in French Bus Crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A second teenage soccer player from North Carolina has died from injuries he received in a bus crash in France.

Julian Brown, 13, of Charlotte, died Sunday evening, a family friend told The Charlotte Observer. His parents and his older sister were with him at a Paris hospital when he was taken off life support.

The first crash fatality was Matt Helms, 13, of Jacksonville. He died at the scene of the April 18 wreck outside Paris.

The 18 youths in the group were in an Olympic development program for promising players.
