When I found this story, it had had 16 people rate it, and the rating was barely over 1. Maybe I need to get the hat out, but this happens all too regularly on stories that either paint Bush in a negative light or Kerry in a positive one.
And, on that note, I'd just like to compare and contrast the last lines of this story to the one several weeks ago in which Bush was rude to everyone around him when he stopped at a local diner for some food.
Kerry cooks up friends among hard-hit US working class
16 minutes ago
CANONSBURG, United States (AFP) - John Kerry (news - web sites) donned protective goggles in an obligatory whistlestop for union votes, to watch workers tend to machines on an immense cement factory floor and listen to the plant manager explain just how kitchenware is made. {snip}
Down the campaign trail from the factory, Kerry's bus pulled over at the Brighton Hot Dog Shop. Here a working-class family of three can eat six hot dogs for 8.99 dollars.
Kerry and sat at the worn, red counter. Greasy smells of foods not usually cooked in All-Clad, floated in the air.
He ate. He answered questions. He smiled for the cameras. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20040427/ts_alt_afp/us_vote_economy_kerry
