UK's Iraq force 'is sufficient'

The prime minister has ruled out sending more troops to Iraq in the immediate future.
Speaking alongside the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Tony Blair said current levels seemed adequate.

Mr Blair acknowledged the coalition would have to "make good any deficiencies" caused by the withdrawal of the Spanish by the end of May.

US troops are expected to take control of the Iraqi provinces Najaf and Kadisiyah, to help fill the withdrawal of 1,300 Spanish troops.
