Group files complaint against Ted Kennedy
A conservative group filed an ethics complaint Wednesday against Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., over the contents of computer memos taken from Democrats' computers by former GOP aides.

Some of the memos that were taken from the Senate Judiciary Committee's computers indicate that two former Kennedy staffers, Olati Johnson and Melody Barnes, wanted to delay a federal appeals court nominee until after the University of Michigan affirmative action case was decided by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, a release from the Center for Individual Freedom contended.
...
Kennedy spokesman David Smith called the complaint ‘‘frivolous and without merit."

Senate Democrats have complained that two former aides to Judiciary Committee chairman Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, intruded into their computer files on judicial nominations and distributed them to Republican groups.

I'm sure they know that it will get thrown out.

17. actually this might give the "filegate"story some legs
and i'm not sure it's a bad thing. The ethics charge is laughable, but the file theft needs to get broader coverage.

Maybe another one to back fire on the RW hehehehe

15. Like the orphan who killed his parents
Then filed suit when the will didn't go in his favor.

They do this sort of thing to mock the law, and show that they consider themselves above it, same as Cheney and Scalia going duck hunting.

25. "Blow-Back"!!!
I apologize for posting something completely unrelated to this thread.

BUT. I am watching "prime-time" media spewing a DEFENSE lodged by the democrats against predatory tactics by the right-wing freaks against John Kerry.

LET'S GET TOUGH AND DEFEND ALL THOSE WHO HAVE TAKEN A STAND FOR OUR HUMANITY!!!

Kennedy certainly deserves our support!!!
