HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Supreme Court yesterday upheld the sentence given to Thomas Druce, the former Bucks County state representative who nearly five years ago ran over and killed a man here, fled the scene, then tried to cover it up.
Immediately after the ruling, the Dauphin County prosecutor filed a motion to revoke bail for Druce, who has avoided prison during the appeal process.

Druce, 42, of Chalfont, a four-term Republican House member at the time of the accident, pleaded guilty in September 2000 to leaving the scene of a fatal accident, insurance fraud, and tampering with evidence.
In October 2000, he was sentenced to two to four years in prison, but served less than two months before posting $600,000 bail.
