DENVER, May 10 (Reuters) - An attorney defending a female U.S. Army private accused of abusing Iraqi prisoners said on Monday her client was being made a "poster child" for the Bush administration's flawed Iraq war policies.
<snip>
"We believe Lynndie is being made a poster child for the deficiencies of the administration's Iraq war," Zapor told Reuters, saying military commanders shared the blame because they assigned poorly trained soldiers to staff the Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad.
<snip>
Zapor said President George W. Bush's comments about the widening scandal, including that he found the photographs "despicable," could jeopardize England's right to a fair court martial hearing. "Those comments violate the Code of Military Justice and the president is the commander in chief," she said.

1. I heard on CBS that Grainer is singing like a songbird

Naming THE names of 'CONTRACTORS" who were also kicking the shit out of the POWs

CBS circled 3 in this picture identified by Grainer.

The big fat slob in the middle wearing the cammies was identified as a civilian contractor.

3. It'll be intersting to see if they tell everything they know...
particularly if it's a public trial. Then again the facist government could refuse to let that evidence be presented on grounds of *national security*. Personally I think they ought to throw the book at anyone involved and not just a couple of fall guys :puke:

6. Hopefully she will turn on the higher ups, and they will turn, and so on
Maybe we can find someone high enough up to bring Bush down for his failed leadership.
