Kerry wins South Dakota presidential primary
<John Kerry, already the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, won South Dakota's Democratic primary on Tuesday.

Far behind were Howard Dean, Lyndon LaRouche and Dennis Kucinich.

With nearly all the precincts reporting, Kerry had 82 percent of the vote among South Dakota Democrats.

A lot of Democrats also cast ballots as uncommitted, meaning they want to sent delegates to their party's convention who aren't committed to any candidate.>

10. hehe, yeah, i know
i was just annoyed at some posts from some people who were acting as if nobody supported kerry and most supported another candidate. so i just felt like posting this. i normally wouldn't post something like this though.

i agree the big story is the house seat and we need to work hard to keep that house seat and daschle's senate seat in november.

2. Cheezle Beets...
Isn't Larouch about 432 years old by now?

What's his deal anyway?

Okay -- tangent -- I'm writing this while staring at that picture of Kerry. That jacket has to go. It's just wrong.

5. trouble in river city
Yet, he is not burning up the polls the way he should be, With all of the problems in the bush campaign, we should be 20 points ahead, not tied. What is it with his campaign? where's the fire? where's the charm, where's the connecting with the peepholes?

So far, lackluster is about the best word we have. I am V E R Y worried that the bushleagues may pull this out. Then, we are in serious trouble.

6. At this time in election, Bush should be ahead by 12%
Edited on Wed Jun-02-04 07:53 AM by zulchzulu
After throwing nearly $80 million toward negative campaign ads and lies about Kerry, Bush is either tied or behind in polls.

Any incumbent president who ever won was at least 10 points ahead of the challenger at this point in the election.

Kerry's message is getting out even though a lot of events he is speaking out against Bush policies are not getting much coverage.

There is also no need to return attack ads on Bush right now due to his Bush's own sinking poll numbers and the GOP circular firing squad doing its best to add even more negative poll numbers.

7. maybe I'm greedy
but I'd like to see more of a umph, maybe even a tri-umph on our part. The earlier, the better.

Beating the bushbabies should be easier than this.

8. Just remember where Kerry was a year ago.
ABsolutely dead in the water, with no prayer of wresting the Dem nomination from Howard Dean.

As a Deaniac, I still don't really know what hit him, or how the hell Kerry did that. I'm somehow trusting that he'll do it again in November.

If Kerry rises too far above Bush now, there's no telling what insanity it might provoke Rove into doing. Best to peak on Nov. 2.

9. I am writing a novel based on the inside of Rove's brain
and I am having a jolly good time, let me tell you.

You are right about peaking in November, preferably the 2nd.
