1. LUNAVILLE HAS 817 DEAD
The supply of photos of the dead has almost dried up. Local net newspapers are not posting them like they used to. The death notices are being consigned to page 16 of the entertainment section. If at all.

2. Death notices in entertainment section?
Is it me, or does something seem wrong with that?

5. The # of wounded in hostile action seems to have skyrocketed.
Back in February, I recall the number being in the low 2000's.

6. Read an article yesterday that one hospital in Germany has seen...
...7,000 wounded alone:

<http://www.counterbias.com/043.html>

Excerpt:

"Another subject conservatives do not talk about is the number of injured U.S. soldiers. It’s not a figure that’s mentioned often, even by the 'liberal' media, due to the fact that the data is so hard to find. In today’s European Stars and Stripes, the number of injured troops treated at Landstuhl hospital in German was listed at over 7,000. That’s just the one hospital.

The NeoCons are lying about our casualties in the Middle East. Why else would they stop retirements, draw up still more National Guard troops, and fund the Selective Service System to initiate the draft in mid-2005?

8. Will all of you people please stop.....
bothering your beautiful little minds over the numbers of dead soldiers? Geez, haven't you got some roses to smell or something? Can't you even see all the "good" we've done in Iraq? What's a couple of hundred dead soldiers, and thousands wounded without limbs or eyes,etc. when you know the oil is flowing?

I think I'll go back to bed now.
