Voters want to hear Bush, Kerry explain how to get nation out of Iraq
CINCINNATI - The war in Iraq. The economy at home. A blueprint for leadership. Job prospects.

Each is a prime concern for voters asked what the presidential candidates could say to get their attention in the 2004 campaign.

Ohio is a must-win state for any Republican seeking the White House. President Bush carried the state four years ago by fewer than 4 percentage points. Polls show a close race so far this year with Democrat John Kerry.

Mike Holmes, 47, of Cincinnati, said he wants to hear the candidates talk about how they will help more Americans find jobs, as well as how to get out of Iraq. Holmes said Bush hasn't made clear to him why American soldiers were sent to war.

1. Yes, put that stupid POS * in front of a camera.
Inquiring minds want to know if something "popped" into his stupid head yet.

4. Writing's on the wall, Kerry!
Americans don't want to stay in Iraq. It's time to drop your tacit approval of BushCo's imperialism. Neither the Neocons nor the "New" Democrats should be wasting American lives on this doomed project.

Btw, here's a link to the same story that doesn't require registration:

5. Bush: Dig deeper. Kerry: Dig steps.
Bush goes for the gold, oil, and everything else that's subTERRORanean. Kerry, however, knows from experience what a foxhole is for and how and when to leave it.

6. Well, if Kerry is smart and picks Clark, he can use Clark's outline
that he wrote in the New Republic, "Bring in the World, Key to Success." He addresses not only Iraq, but the "dynamic of conflict" that Bush has "injected into the region."

He spends a lot of time discussing the type of government that has to be established--not proportional, based in ethnicity or religion--but representational, a bicameral structure "to which voters elect individual politicians to represent their constituencies"...which.."
may force parties toward the political center than the extremes.

I would be very surprised if this piece isn't incorporated somehow into Kerry's plans....or if named as VP, Clark doesn't become the official'
"plan guy" for the ticket....
