Edited on Sun Jun-06-04 04:53 AM by JoFerret
This is the family that is partially responsible for bringing us the disaster of the Reagan presidency in 1980.

1. I smelled a rat...

... as soon as he started starring in his own Coors ads nationwide.

2. The Coors Heritage
Fifteen Years ago CEO/President Adolf Coors (the first name fit so ably) came to speak at San Francisco State (I was a Junior there) and was asked why there were no African-Americans on the board. He said, "They (African-Americans) lacked the skills to be on the board at Coors."
San Francisco State immediately ended selling Coors beer on campus.
To try and appease the outraged University, Coors promised to use more African-Americans in their advertisements.
The ban stayed in effect when the ads always had African-Americans as waiters, busboys, cleaning people etc in the ads.
This is the Coors family.
Are they racists? I'd never say that. But it kinda makes you wonder.

4. This family has a long legacy
of extremist right wing politics and - to be redundant perhaps - racism and homophobia. The family that bankrolled Reagan...says it all really. they have been soft-pedalling in recent years...even taking out ads in gay publications. But don't be fooled.

3. The Coors family is very scary
They are whacko conservatives. I would call them racist, based on the stuff I've read. They are also for keeping women in their place.
